A yacht was originally defined as a light, fast sailing
vessel used to convey important persons. Later the definition came to mean
any vessel, other than a dinghy, propelled by sail, power or both and used
for pleasure cruising and/or yacht racing.
If your rich you may own your own luxury Yacht, if not
then you can hire them, or you may just be happy to watch them sail off into
the sunset. Some of the large luxury Yachts will sail around the world. The
word yacht is Dutch and is derived form the word Jacht meaning "hunt” or
“hunter”. Now days the very word yacht has come to cover a wider range of
