Stretch Marks

There are a number of actions that can be taken to reduce the appearance of these unsightly skin defects. As you probably know, stretch marks commonly develop on certain areas of the body, such as your hips, abdomen, and thighs. They can also develop on the upper arms, sides of the breast or behind the knees.

You can use a good skin moisturizer which will help prevent stretch marks, but also as an aid in minimizing or fading existing stretch marks. Damaged skin, can and will heal if given the proper care.

People who are obese often have stretch marks. Bodybuilders are prone to getting stretch marks because of the rapid body changes that bodybuilding can produce.

Some people find that sunless tanning treatments may help cover up stretch marks. This doesn't work for regular tanning or tanning beds, though, because stretch marks themselves are less likely to tan.

Cosmetic Surgery ' Not the answer !. Sun Tan, yes it does fade them a little, but the amount of harmful UV rays you would need to expose your body to is not worth the risk. So stop worrying about stretch marks, think about long term skin care which will eliminate stretch marks completely. Worry about those bad taste t-shirts instead !
