Stretch Marks
There
are a number of actions that can be taken to reduce the appearance of these
unsightly skin defects. As you probably know, stretch marks commonly develop
on certain areas of the body, such as your hips, abdomen, and thighs. They
can also develop on the upper arms, sides of the breast or behind the knees.
You can use a good skin moisturizer which will help prevent
stretch marks, but also as an aid in minimizing or fading existing stretch
marks. Damaged skin, can and will heal if given the proper care.
People who are obese often have stretch marks. Bodybuilders are prone to
getting stretch marks because of the rapid body changes that bodybuilding
can produce.
Some people find that sunless tanning treatments may help cover up
stretch marks. This doesn't work for regular tanning or tanning beds,
though, because stretch marks themselves are less likely to tan.
Cosmetic Surgery ' Not the answer !. Sun Tan, yes it does fade them a
little, but the amount of harmful UV rays you would need to expose your body
to is not worth the risk. So stop worrying about stretch marks, think about
long term skin care which will eliminate stretch marks completely. Worry
about those bad taste t-shirts instead ! |
