 It can get a bit windy on a beach, but beach hats are mostly worn to keep
the sun of your head, and to look nice.

Beach hats will keep your head cooler, too much sun beating down on your
head could cause heat stroke, So if you forgot to take along a hat then
improvise by making one out of a handkerchief.
Just tie a not in each corner of the hanky, this will help keep it down
over your head and stop it from being blown away.
Straw hats are also popular, made from Straw, or twisted sea grass. There
are also hats designed for better protection which blocks > 97.5% of the
suns UV radiation. Can be worn in and out of the water. There is a tie to
